Proposal Letter in Tri-Fold Format
The author of the letter, well known to her community, goes by the name, “Daisy,” so we went with a visual motif playing off her name. The client’s proposal letter is presented in a field of daisies in the center-right panels of the inside of the brochure with supporting data in the left panel.
The front cover emphasizes the urgency of the call-to-action with the word “NOW” framed in a clock face. Happy family photos of the appropriate ethnicity (Filipino) were purchased from a stock photo agency. Having the graphics fade to white toward the page edges reduced the printing costs because it was not necessary to go to a full-bleed (i.e. print color all the way to the edge of the paper) printing process.
Logo designed specifically for this brochure:
Yes, this logo visually identifies with the policy proponent, whose name is Daisy, but there’s a subtle, almost subliminal element to the design.
Consider that the Filipino community was the target audience for these health care services. Next take a look at the Philippine Flag and see if you can find any similar elements in the daisy.
