Architect Portfolio Website
My client, Judy van Soldt, already had much of her portfolio online, but in a constrained, old-school website with a 7×5 inch footprint that didn’t display her architectural renderings to best advantage. We shopped around for a WordPress theme that appealed to Judy’s minimalist design aesthetic and also adhered to modern responsive website design standards.
In addition, Judy had a blog over at WordPress.com, whose posts I imported to this site, so her blog and portfolio could coexist in the same website. I set up the sidebar (on pages that have it) so it displayed recent posts from Judy’s Twitter feed. Judy had a collection of pithy, architecture related quotations, so I use a rotator plug-in to display the “archi-textual” quotations in the footer of each page, changing to a new quote every 15 seconds or so.
