4 x 6 Photo – Postcard

Face painting photo-composite in 4×6 dimensions for printing to 1-hour photo or postcards.

This photo quality high-resolution composite graphic, when printed to a 4×6 glossy photo has turned out to have a higher request and retention rate than a normal business card. (Translation: people ask for them and they like to keep them = more repeat and referral business for my client’s face painting business.)

A 3.5 x 2 inch business card, having less surface area cannot accommodate such a complex image. In that case the image is simplified so that the contact information stands out.

A “low-volume” business card printing tip/trick

Three business card sized images can be laid out onto one 4×6 photo (with a little edge left over.)

This works great if you want to get a small number of high gloss business cards printed quickly and you don’t mind cutting the 4×6 photos up by hand (scissors or paper cutter.)

This doesn’t work so great if you want a large number of business cards. In that case, send a 3.5 x 2 image file to a regular print shop instead.
