Commentary on my design projects

Disobeyed the No Parking sign

Ned's Design Blog

I have a queue of about 40 blog posts from earlier design blogs, but I’ve parked most of them offline for the moment.  I plan to update them a bit, then import them to this blog during the week of November 28 – December 4th.

Yes, I know the sign says “No Parking” but sometimes you have to pull over for a moment and figure out where you are going and what your priorities are.

Client work comes first.

When I began the remodeling of my portfolio website (yikes! TWO months ago), all of a sudden I got a big influx of new client projects, so I had to put development of my own website(s) aside.

More important than the blog section of this site, is my services section, and then my portfolio projects, so I’m working away on those whenever I get a moment to spare from client projects.

Then, I’ll get to the blog section. So far, I’ve put in just a few sample posts to test it out.

On many of my old websites I used to say: “This website, like life, is a work in progress. Welcome to it… and enjoy yourself while you’re here.”

But this time, you have come upon my website when it REALLY is a work in progress, because I’m right in the middle of taking pieces from my original portfolio website and reworking them to fit into this new, completely remodeled (like from a shack to a mansion) website.
